We will start with prioritizing using MoSCoW.
MoSCoW stands for:
M – must
S – should
C – could
W – won’t this time
Let me give you an example – our punch party
Must: the punch
Should: cold finger food
Could: hot finger food
Won’t this time: home-made Christmas cookies
In projects you can use MoSCoW at the project start to define objectives or requirements.
During the coordination phases work packages can be prioritized.
You can use MoSCoW whenever you need to prioritize regardless if you are working on projects or not.
The Os don’t have a meaning, they are only used to make MSCW easier to remember.
