Three blessings is an exercise from positive psychology.
The idea of positive psychology is to focus on the positive and by doing so become more resilient to deal with negative situations, events, etc.
Take a small notebook and every evening before you go to bed write down three things that were positive for you that day.
They don’t have to be anything great or extraordinary.
This is my entry for today:
- I really enjoyed lunch with my colleague today.
- I have finally completed the next article for my blog.
- Because I have a cold I canceled a late meeting and instead spent a cozy evening at home.
