GOOD is good enough – it doesn’t have to be perfect
Our own perfectionism can lead to stress.
Of cause it is important to perform well and make an effort, but most of the time GOOD is good enough, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
You probably know the Pareto principle which states that for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Most of the time 80% is enough and most of the time our stake holders won’t even realize that it is only 80%.
Perhaps now is a good time to try this out. Be satisfied with good enough and 80% and see how your stake holders react. Perhaps also you can accept (only) 80% from your employees, colleagues, etc.
